Condiment error

If you have the error where the machine is asking for a condiment, please do following:

1. Key to program
2. press arrow down to "system settings"
3. press ca/amt tend
4. press 3 then subtotal
5. type in 0 then press each department button
6. press subtotal to exit

now turn key to REG and test.

How to setup multi user clerk system

In REG position with Key, press NS button - if draws opens, follow procedure below

key to program

arrow down to "system settings"

press cash/tend

press 3

press subtotal

press 2722 subtotal

press 1400000000

press cash/tend

press subtotal

turn key to REG

press 1

press CLERK

you can use number 1 to 20 for clerks, each time you sign on press the number then the clerk button

Receipt message:-

1. Do the following once:

press cash/amt tend
press subtotal

Adding a Credit/debit card button to your machine

Do following to change button to charge ( card payments)

In REG mode, press no sale, drawer should open, if it does continue. If it doesn`t then finish what you were doing before you turn the key.

Now...

key to program
press down arrow button to "system settings"
press cash/tend
press 4
press subtotal
press 002 then press the button you want to change
press subtotal to exit

To check button is working...

turn key to REG and press an item button on right
press subtotal
press the button you changed
it will now open draw and print Charge

How to get stock reports from Cash register Pc using Excel

Anytime read ( does not reset data )
put sd card in cash register
Turn key to X
press 26
press cash/tend
press cash/tend again
wait a few seconds for the paper copy and let the machine write to the SD card
Place card into PC and view in Excel.

Resetting data.

End of day stock scanning report, can be done weekly or whenever you require stock units sold:

put sd card in cash register
Turn key to Z
press 50026
press cash/tend

wait a few seconds for the paper copy and let the machine write to the SD card
Place card into PC and view in Excel

The reports now in Excel can be copied into other Excel spreadsheets for stock units previously in stock in the table form and calculations can be done to suit your requirements, please consult Microsoft or other Excel experts on how to do this. Within Excel there is also a help feature explaing how to do this.

How to print the VAT breakdown on your Casio cash register

If you wish to print the breakdown of the vat on the customer receipt, please do the following:

1. Key to program
2. press arrow down to "system settings"
3. press ca/amt tend
4. press 3 then subtotal
5. type in 0000100000 then press ca/amt tend button
6. press subtotal to exit

Now turn key to REG and do a transaction, if you have setup vat for your items then the VAT content will be in the receipt.

If you wish to program this for the Charge( card button) do following:

1. Key to program
2. press arrow down to "system settings"
3. press ca/amt tend
4. press 3 then subtotal
5. type in 000010000 then press CH tend button
6. press subtotal to exit

If you wish to program this for the Cheque ( CHK button) do following:

1. Key to program
2. press arrow down to "system settings"
3. press ca/amt tend
4. press 3 then subtotal
5. type in 000010000 then press CHK tend button
6. press subtotal to exit

Printing the number of items on the receipt


If you want the cash register to print how many items the customer has had, then please follow the steps below:

This procedure taken from page 71 of the manual.

On reg position, press no sale and drawer should open, if ok proceed:

turn key to pgm ( program) position
press arrow down to "system settings"
press 3 them subtotal
press 0522 then subtotal
press 0000001000 then ca amt/tend
press subtotal to exit.

turn key back to REG and test. The printout should tell you the quantity of items purchased.

How to ignore the complusory drawer switch.

If you need to leave the drawer open when you serve customers please do the following so you don`t get the error sound:

In reg model, press no sale and the drawer will open, if not finish what you were doing.

1. key to program,then arrow down to system settings (its the last one) and press ca amt/ tend
2. press 3 then subtotal
3. press 1022 then subtotal
3. press 20000 then ca amt/tend
4. press subtotal then turn key to REG

How to select the currency symbol for your country


To select £ on screen

key to program

press arrow down to system settings
press ca/ amt tend

press 2
press subtotal
press 0123 subtotal
press 7 many times until you see the £ or euro symbol
press ca amt tend
press subtotal
turn key to REG mode
